I took a trip to the zoo today. After being holed up for over a week taking care of a sick dog, it was time for a little adventure, and the Como Zoo in St. Paul always has my heart. It’s sweet, it’s family friendly, it’s free, and it’s just the right size. On this photo adventure, I focused on lighting and composition, with the intention (and the successful completion of) very little to no editing! Also no fancy camera, just my decades old Nikon D3300. I love animals, I love nature, and hopefully you love the moody but joyful mood of the images below!
